Continuum is acting as Development Manager for Chorley Council on its ambitious £44 million regeneration programme. The programme comprises a series of strategically linked projects that together aim to reshape Chorley’s town centre, enhance civic infrastructure, deliver new homes, and increase access to high-quality public space.

At the heart of the regeneration is a new civic square in front of the historic town hall, which will serve as a dynamic space for community events and social activity. The wider programme includes the redevelopment of the Council’s Bengal Street depot into sustainable housing and the refurbishment of Union Street offices to provide modern community-facing facilities and potential NHS services. These interventions are supported by major funding packages, including Levelling Up and Brownfield Land Release Funding.
