Continuum was appointed by Trivselhus UK to provide a development management advice regarding the delivery of a new high quality, sustainable residential development designed by jtp Architects and Neil Tully Associates, Landscape Architects. The scheme is located in Surrey.
South Ribble Borough Council (SRBC) instructed Continuum to assess the Financial Viability Assessment (FVA) submitted in support of a planning application for major residential development. The planning application was for up to 950 homes and 18.09 acres of commercial space. The existing brownfield site had previously been used for motor racing.

At the beginning of April RICS published their long awaited updated guidance note on financial viability in planning. The document is titled Assessing viability in planning under the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) 2019 for England and comes into effect in July this year.
