Retail

Retail is a fast-moving sector, with unique challenges and opportunities. At Continuum we have an in-depth understanding of working within the retail sector through our involvement in mixed use town centre redevelopments such as the Wokingham Town Centre regeneration and Chorley Civic Square regeneration.

Retail continues to be at the forefront of much discussion regarding the “death of the high street” as innovative property development solutions are required to solve the increasing vacancy we see in our town centres. Whilst the situation the high street finds itself presents obvious problems there are a plethora of opportunities to repurpose and reposition our town centres to create vibrant and vital places where people will still desire to live, work and play.

Continuum has extensive experience in the retail sector helping to create dynamic mixed-use schemes, understanding the commercial challenges associated with developing truly viable retail offerings.
