Developer Site Introduction

Completed: January, 1970

Services: Development Management, Land Agency

Sectors: Mixed Use, Residential, Retail

Size: Over 300 acres

Continuum identified a suitable site area for a large-scale strategic development of residential and employment uses. Through careful consideration of the site’s unique opportunity and challenges, the team identified an appropriate developer to introduce the site to. Supported by an initial site constraints analysis, a review of the local planning policy position and initial development appraisal work, the opportunity was presented to the identified developer.

Services Provided

Based on Continuums analysis and recognising the scale of the opportunity, the developer gained their boards approval for the creation of a budget to secure an interest in the land. The site now forms a key part of the developer’s long-term plans.

Initial contact was made with landowners on the site and a significant proportion of the landowner discussions have progressed to the negotiation of terms in relation to Option Agreements.

Once a critical mass of land has been secured, the site will be promoted through the upcoming local plan process.
