Continuum was appointed by Trivselhus UK to develop a business case to support a planning application for a high-quality holiday lodge scheme located mid-way between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower in the countryside, close to Neath,. Estates Farm, also known as Parc Pelenna development, covers circa 108 acres of mainly wooded land with two large paddock areas.

The scheme consists of 53 holiday lodges, swimming pool, paddock and stabling, associated infrastructure and landscaping. The scheme incorporates direct access to nearby bridleways and cycle ways. The lodges are made from ethically sourced, sustainable materials, offering high quality holiday lodges available 12 months of the year.

Continuum successfully developed and submitted a business case for Parc Pelenna to support the planning application submitted for the 53-unit scheme. The business case covered the following areas:

Outputs

The business case was successfully submitted to Neath Port Talbot planning authority in July 2019 and was subsequently approved as part of the wider planning application for the 53-unit scheme. Continuum are currently working closely with Trivselhus to assist with the delivery phase of the project.
