Continuum was appointed by Chorley Borough Council to provide development management advice pertaining to the redevelopment of Tatton Park. The scheme designed by Triangle Architects Ltd and LEP Landscape, comprises five different elements:

• Assisted living facility providing 62 residential units with a mix of 1 and 2 bed units;

• Community centre;

• General Practice Surgery and Pharmacy,

• Landscaping including upgrades to park and existing public open space; and

• Civic facilities.

Continuum was appointed by Trivselhus UK to provide development management advice regarding the delivery of a new high quality, sustainable residential development designed by jtp Architects and Neil Tully Associates, Landscape Architects. The scheme is located in Surrey.

The project comprises the development of a mix of 21 three, four and five bed houses featuring a Scandi design and sustainable build ethos.

Continuum was appointed by Tameside MBC to lead the professional team appointed to deliver the Godley Green Garden Village Scheme. The scheme is one of the largest and most ambitious programmes of development and regeneration within the North West and City region. Godley Green will provide transformational change to the Tameside housing market through delivery of up to 2,150 new quality homes, mixed-use local centres, and major infrastructure.

The vision for Godley Green Garden Village is to create a nationally recognised vibrant and sustainable new community based on Garden Village principles. These principles are being proposed by Government as a policy initiative designed to promote well planned areas of significant residential growth.

South Ribble Borough Council (SRBC) instructed Continuum to assess the Financial Viability Assessment (FVA) submitted in support of a planning application for major residential development. The planning application was for up to 950 homes and 18.09 acres of commercial space. The existing brownfield site had previously been used for motor racing.

The applicant submitted a viability case in support of their application which was reviewed by a consultant on behalf of SRBC. In early 2019 an agreement was made regarding viability that the site could only viably provide 13.8% (177 units) of the overall housing proposed at the site as affordable. SRBC sought a review of the viability agreement as they considered a site of this size should be contributing more to the needs of the area and instructed Continuum to review both the submitted FVA and the subsequent review.
